How do you feel about what happened to KC's Pizza on Monday? What will you miss most? Do you hope they'll return? If so, why?
What is your favorite memory from KC's? Please fill us in on what and why.
I was very sad to watch as fire crews finished their work on putting out the fire at the local eatery. In fact, I was near tears and had to leave. I was at almost a complete loss for words (which as many will tell you is not something that happens often).
I loved the support KC's offered the community regardless of who the owner was at any given time. It was almost as if commitment to the community was built in to the owner role for the restaurant. We held historical society meetings there for awhile and I will remember them fondly. I especially enjoyed the Christmas party we had for the historical society there one year. Regardless of whether or not KC's opens again, regardless of whether or not the building is rebuilt...there are memories and photographs (among other things) that will never be replaced.
Thank you to Walter, Louie and Margrit, Flora, Greg, Albert and anyone I may have forgotten for your commitment to the community through KC's Pizza. There are especially many local youth who appreciate all you have done for them.
